Sadly, on May 1, 2010, Community Car Share ceased operations due to financial and organizational circumstances that cannot be resolved at this time. Organization revenues could not surpass overall operating costs and outstanding debts.
We would like to acknowledge the support of a few individuals, businesses, and organizations, although there have been many more than we can list here. Community Car Share would not have been able to exist without their ongoing support.

CCS Board members remain convinced that the practice of car sharing is a viable transportation alternative. We feel that by acting responsibly, and in the best financial interest of members and creditors, the practice of car sharing will return to Bellingham in a better economic climate and with greater community support for this innovative member-based service.
